Do let me know if you agree to the
disposal of our archives to Patricia Bissessar as proposed.
Best,

Thank you, Bruce.
I have not heard of this activity of
hers before.
I think it is a wonderful suggestion.
Best,
Don

I had another thought.
You might contact Patricia Bissessar.
She operates Angelo Bissessarsingh’s
Virtual Museum of Trinidad and Tobago, a very successful historical site on
Facebook.
She archives physical properties as well
all with a view of protecting Trinidad’s history.

Thanks, Bruce.
The persons principally contributing to the archival items I hold are
Ladislao (too old, and trying to get rid of stuff); Nigel (has already sent all
of his archival stuff to me because he is ill); Jan (would be an excellent
person as he is so organised, but I want him to volunteer rather than impose
the obligation on him); and George (I have lost contact with him).
I need a volunteer who meets the
approval of these persons.
Maybe you can send them a message of
your offer?
I would happily endorse it.
Best,
Don

Mon, 10 Jan,
Thanks, Joe,
This is the best offer I have had to date.
I’ll send in a few days if copyees (who
sent me the documents in question) have no serious objection.
Best,
Don

Mon,
10 Jan,
Hi, George,
You will recall that I have been holding in trust for the Old Boys
certain archives sent to me by Ladislao and Nigel because they wanted a younger
person to keep them.
I am now in a position where I must pass
them on.
Would you be willing to hold them?
It is a file of documents perhaps two or
three inches thick, not much.
I know that Ladislao and Nigel would
approve of your holding them.
If you could send me your mail address
and telephone number for the FedEx package I shall ship them off to you.
Best,
Don

Dear Sir Glen,
Would you be interested in holding the
few archives of MSB School that I hold in trust for the Old Boys?
If so, and if the copyees have no
objection, I will need a full address for the FedEx package together with a
telephone number for the package!
Best,
Don

Gentlemen,
Happy New Year to all.
My battery is winding down. It won’t be long now. I would like to send my MSB stuff to someone
who will long outlive me.
Any suggestions? I need a full address
and phone number for the FedEx package.
Best,

Dear Bruce,
All those who have responded to my
suggestion that we commit the Archives to the care of Patricia Bissessar have
agreed with the idea.
I now propose to contact her and discuss
the plan with her.
Grateful for her email address at your
earliest so that I can sort out her contact details FedEx the package to her.
Best,
Don

Dear All,
You are the ones who have shown an
interest in the Archives.
Bruce Locke has found an Archivist in
Trinidad who has offered to keep our archives safe.
I would be glad to hear from you whether
you agree that we should give them up to her.
Below is the correspondence.
I shall ask her to keep a separate
folder for us, and to agree to add any further documents that come to our
hands.
I attach a catalogue of the Archives I
hold, in case you never saw it before.
I seem to recall circulating it back in
2020 when I compiled it.
Anyway, I should be glad for your
concurrence that this is a good repository for our few archival
documents.
Best,
Don

It was in 1959, a year ahead of you.
If you have a picture of yourself from
those days, please send it to me.
I can't seem to remember what you, among
many others, looked like (sorry).
